What’s my contribution to this anthology?

Once again, I got opening billing in the volume for A Mother So Beautiful and I was so honored to get it. It is a reader favorite and probably my most deep (and dark) story yet.

Camille just wants a good relationship with her mother. That’s all. Is that too much to ask? Breaking through that cool exterior isn’t easy when all her mother wants to do is work on the cure for human violence. As their tangled relationship twists and turns, it turns out the end of the world is the only logical outcome.

This is probably my most favorite story ever (I mean, that I’ve written). I love the way it turned out. Like many of the others, this one is being slightly expanded and included in the volume, The Ways We End.
