The Time Travel Chronicles

Time travel. Humanity has long imagined what it would be like to be able to create a time machine, what we might see if we could travel into the future, or be transported to the distant past. And what if it were possible to travel into our own, more recent past? Would we be able to change our present, or are we prisoners of predestination? Is fate what we make of it?

Description

In this latest title in the acclaimed ‘Future Chronicles’ series of speculative fiction anthologies, fourteen authors confront the question of time travel and its consequences, exploring a landscape where past, present and future all become imaginable destinations.

Sawyer (Calculating God), Amazon bestselling author Rysa Walker (the Chronos series), Best American Science Fiction notable Samuel Peralta (Faith), plus eleven more of today’s top authors in speculative and science fiction.

What’s my story?

Titled, Life/Time in the New World, it’s a twist on time travel that I’ve always been fascinated with. I mean, there’s just soooo much possible when it comes to us and time. Except, well, we just aren’t there yet.  Here’s the blurb.

Most of us want to live forever at one point or another in our lives. Aside from the simple act of living, many yearn to experience whatever great thing will happen right after we die. It hardly seems fair. Even so, rich or poor, we’re all in the same boat and we all die. Except now, there is a way. For the very rich there is a secret path, a tool, that will allow them to cheat death. Darren has just been offered his chance. Will the future be as bright as he thinks?

Like the others, this story is being expanded and slightly revised for inclusion in And Then Begin Again.
