This is the first volume in the spin-off series to The Future Chronicles and is… alternate history. Way outside my wheelhouse but enormous fun to write in. The stories inside are amazing. My humble offering is called Unnatural.

What is Pope John Paul the First hadn’t died after only a month in office? The world was waiting for the Papal opinion on the birth of the first test tube baby when this pope stepped into office. Instead of delivering that opinion, he died. How might our world be different had this kindly man decided something different than what the next pope did?

I’m also updating and slightly expanding this tale for inclusion in the upcoming volume, And Then Begin Again. I can’t say enough how much fun I had doing something so completely different!
